Course Overview

Located in Janakpur, Janaki Medical College offers a 5.5-year MBBS program affiliated with Tribhuvan University. The curriculum delivers thorough training in preclinical sciences—anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology—followed by clinical rotations across core specialties.

Practical training takes place across its two healthcare facilities, including a 350+ bed teaching hospital, serving Madhesh Province in internal medicine, general surgery, infectious diseases, and maternal-child health. JMC integrates community health diagnosis field visits and a compulsory 12-month rotating internship to build adaptable clinical skills.
