General Medicine – CFU

Course Overview

The 6-year General Medicine (MBBS equivalent) program at Crimea Federal University follows an integrated approach that combines fundamental medical sciences with extensive clinical education in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment. Students begin by studying anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and pharmacology before moving into organ-based clinical subjects and patient management. One of the strengths of the program is its early introduction to clinical skills through simulation facilities, practical workshops, and supervised patient interaction.

Clinical rotations are conducted in affiliated hospitals where students receive training in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, and emergency care. The curriculum also promotes research involvement, evidence-based clinical practice, and modern diagnostic techniques, enabling students to understand both the scientific and practical aspects of medicine. Graduates complete comprehensive clinical internships and state examinations with the knowledge and experience necessary for postgraduate medical education.
