Course Overview
The BMBS programme adopts a case-based learning approach that integrates scientific knowledge with clinical application. Students develop practical skills through anatomy, simulation laboratories and placements across NHS hospitals and community healthcare settings.
The curriculum promotes research, professionalism and compassionate patient care. Graduates are well prepared for Foundation Programme training.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII qualifications alone are not accepted for direct entry to Medicine. Applicants must present qualifications accepted by Brighton and Sussex Medical School as equivalent to the required UK academic standard for Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian citizens as per NMC rules.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each section) + MMI interview.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age by 1st October of entry year.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health screening, Enhanced DBS clearance, valid passport, and transcripts.
