Course Overview
The BMid (Hons) Midwifery prepares students to provide professional care for women during pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal periods.
Students study maternal health, reproductive science, newborn care, public health, and clinical decision-making through academic learning and practical placements. Graduates are prepared for careers as registered midwives in hospitals, maternity units, and community healthcare services.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Records: High school qualification with strong academic performance from a recognized institution.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 7.0 overall (minimum 7.0 in Reading, Listening, and Speaking, 6.5 in Writing) or equivalent.
- Subject Requirements: Biology or Health Studies is recommended.
- Application Materials: Academic transcripts, personal statement, academic reference, passport copy, and UCAS application.
