Course Overview
The BMBS programme combines innovative teaching methods with technology-enhanced learning and early clinical exposure. Students study biomedical sciences alongside practical clinical training delivered through simulation and NHS placements.
The curriculum emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration, leadership and evidence-based medicine. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Training and postgraduate medical education.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII qualifications are assessed using the University’s published country-specific equivalency requirements. Applicants must meet the academic standard equivalent to the published Medicine A Level offer, including Chemistry and Biology.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )/ GAMSAT score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian students under NMC rules.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in each band) + MMI assessment.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age at course enrolment.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health clearance, Enhanced DBS check, valid passport, and transcripts.
