Course Overview
The MB ChB programme is a 5-year undergraduate medical course integrating biomedical sciences with progressive clinical education. Students receive early patient contact, simulation-based training and hospital placements across NHS Trusts.
The curriculum develops diagnostic reasoning, research skills and professional practice. Graduates are well prepared for Foundation Training and specialist careers.
Entry Requirements
- Indian High School Leaving Certificate (CBSE and CISCE only): 90% overall in Standard XII for MBBS Medicine. The programme also requires Biology and Chemistry in accordance with the published Medicine subject requirements. (Reddit)
- Entrance Exam: Competitive University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian citizens under NMC rules.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each component) + MMI assessment.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be 18 years old prior to clinical placement start.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health clearance, Enhanced DBS certificate, valid passport, and transcripts.
