Entry Requirements

• 90+ semester hours at an accredited US college required.
• MCAT required (504+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 1 semester Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Physics, English.
• Admission is restricted to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents. As Mississippi’s public medical school, the institution gives strong preference to qualified in-state residents in accordance with its educational and healthcare mission.
• Applicants applying through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) should provide either a Committee Evaluation Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from professors, physicians, employers, or research supervisors who can evaluate the applicant’s academic achievements, professional qualities, and commitment to the medical profession.
