Entry Requirements

• 90+ semester hours at an accredited US/Canadian college required.
• MCAT required (513+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 1 semester Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Physics, English.
• Admission is restricted to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents. As a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, the institution gives preference to New York State residents and does not sponsor F-1 student visas for the MD program.
• Applicants applying through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual faculty Letters of Recommendation (LORs), preferably including professors from science disciplines who can evaluate the applicant’s academic preparedness for medical school.
