The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program at Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine is a 4-year full-time graduate medical degree accredited by the LCME.
The curriculum integrates preclinical medical foundation, primary care and rural health emphasis, and clinical clerkships in affiliated Appalachian health networks. Graduates receive the title of Medical Doctor (MD), complying with U.S. licensing requirements (USMLE) and ACGME residency eligibility.
