Course Overview
The 6-year General Medicine (MBBS equivalent) program at Ingush State University provides students with a comprehensive medical education through the integration of theoretical knowledge, laboratory-based learning, and supervised clinical practice. The curriculum begins with anatomy, physiology, histology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical genetics before advancing into disease-oriented clinical education. Practical training is introduced through simulation centres and clinical skills laboratories, allowing students to refine procedural techniques and patient communication before hospital placements.
Clinical rotations are conducted in affiliated healthcare institutions covering internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, neurology, emergency medicine, and family medicine. The program also emphasizes preventive healthcare, medical ethics, and community medicine, encouraging a patient-centered approach to healthcare delivery. Continuous practical assessments and hospital internships prepare graduates with the clinical competence and professional skills necessary for postgraduate training and medical practice.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Qualification: Minimum 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) in 10+2 / Senior Secondary Examination (40% for SC/ST/OBC categories as per Indian regulatory norms).
- Age Limit: Must be at least 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the admission year.
- NEET Score: Mandatory qualification in the NEET-UG exam for Indian citizens planning to practice in India under NMC regulations.
- Language Proficiency: Proof of English proficiency or high school instruction in English (IELTS/TOEFL is not required for most Russian state medical institutions).
- Academic Certificates: 10th & 12th Mark sheets and passing certificates.
- NEET Scorecard: Official scorecard demonstrating NEET-UG qualification.
- Identification: Valid passport with at least 18–24 months of validity remaining.
- Medical fitness certificate from a registered practitioner.
- HIV negative test report (issued within 3 months of departure).
- Photographs: 10–12 passport-sized photographs (3.5 × 4.5 cm with white background).
- Official Authorization: Birth certificate, university invitation letter, and notarized Russian translations of all documents.
