General Medicine – NCSA

Course Overview

The 6-year General Medicine (MBBS equivalent) program at North Caucasian State Academy is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in medical sciences while progressively developing clinical competence through practical training. The curriculum begins with anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry, microbiology, pathology, and pharmacology, supported by laboratory classes and practical demonstrations. Students gradually transition into clinical education through simulation-based learning and supervised patient interaction, enabling them to develop essential examination and diagnostic skills.

Clinical rotations are conducted in affiliated hospitals across internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine. The program also incorporates preventive healthcare, medical ethics, public health, and evidence-based medicine to promote holistic patient care. Through continuous clinical exposure, internships, and practical assessments, graduates develop the professional knowledge and hands-on experience required for successful medical careers.
