Course Overview

The General Medicine (MBBS equivalent) program at Buryat State University combines comprehensive medical education with practical clinical training in multidisciplinary healthcare settings. The curriculum begins with anatomy, physiology, histology, biochemistry, pathology, microbiology, and pharmacology, providing students with a strong understanding of the biological basis of disease. Laboratory-based practical classes and simulation training enable students to develop essential clinical skills before entering hospital environments.

During the clinical years, students undertake supervised rotations in internal medicine, surgery, pediatrics, obstetrics & gynecology, cardiology, neurology, infectious diseases, and primary healthcare.
