Course Overview
The 6-year English-taught MD (Medicine) Programme at the University of Opole provides an integrated medical curriculum based on European Union standards. The programme combines biomedical sciences, anatomy and laboratory training, clinical simulation, problem-based learning, and extensive clinical rotations in affiliated teaching hospitals.
Graduates are awarded the Doctor of Medicine (Lekarz/MD) degree and are eligible to pursue postgraduate training and medical licensure in Poland and internationally, subject to national licensing regulations. (ects.uni.opole.pl)
Entry Requirements
- Academics: 10+2 / Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent with Biology and Chemistry or Physics. Admission is based on the evaluation of secondary school examination results in the required science subjects rather than a fixed minimum percentage. (University of Opole)
- NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard is mandatory for Indian applicants in accordance with National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
- Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by 31 December of the admission year.
- Language & Testing: Applicants must demonstrate English language proficiency at B2 level or above. The university may conduct an admission interview and/or English language assessment for international applicants as part of the admission process.
- Health & Documentation: Valid passport, legalized/apostilled secondary school certificate, academic transcripts, medical fitness certificate, proof of English language proficiency (where applicable), passport-size photographs, proof of application fee payment, and other admission documents specified by the University Admissions Office.
