Course Overview

The 6-year English-taught MD (Medicine) Programme at Jan Kochanowski University, Kielce provides integrated medical education based on European Union standards. The curriculum combines foundational biomedical sciences, anatomy laboratories, simulation-based education, clinical skills training, and extensive clinical rotations in affiliated teaching hospitals.

The programme prepares graduates for postgraduate medical training and medical licensure in Poland and internationally, subject to national licensing requirements.

Entry Requirements

  • Academics: 10+2 / Higher Secondary Certificate or equivalent with Biology or Chemistry, together with Physics or Mathematics. Admission is based on an open competition of grades from the secondary school certificate rather than a fixed minimum percentage.
  • NEET Qualification: Qualified NEET-UG scorecard is mandatory for Indian applicants as per National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
  • Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 17 years old before commencement of the Medicine programme. Underage applicants require parental/legal guardian consent where applicable.
  • Language & Testing: English language proficiency at minimum B2 level is required. Accepted qualifications include IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 87, TOEIC 700, Aptis B2, or equivalent recognized certification. Applicants whose previous education was conducted in English may be exempt from submitting a language certificate.
  • Health & Documentation: Valid passport, legalized/apostilled secondary school certificate, academic transcripts, medical fitness certificate, health insurance, proof of English proficiency (if applicable), visa/residence documents, passport-size photographs, and any additional admission documents required by the university.
