MD (Doctor of Medicine) – ARIUMG

Course Overview

Situated in Armenia’s second-largest city, the Faculty of Medicine at Progress University of Gyumri offers a community-centered 6-year English-medium MD/MBBS program. The course structure combines academic instruction in general medicine, pathology, and surgery with early practical exposure at the Gyumri Medical Center and local municipal clinics.

Due to smaller cohort sizes, students benefit from direct faculty access and personalized clinical mentoring during hospital ward rounds. The curriculum covers core rotational subjects—including cardiology, pediatrics, orthopedics, and preventative health—preparing students to perform clinical diagnostics in regional and primary care environments.
