Course Overview
The MBBS programme integrates biomedical sciences, public health and clinical medicine within a patient-focused curriculum. Students learn through case-based teaching, anatomy, simulation and placements across NHS healthcare providers.
The programme encourages innovation, research and collaborative practice. Graduates are equipped for Foundation Programme training and lifelong careers in medicine.
Entry Requirements
- Graduate Entry Medicine only. Applicants must hold a minimum UK 2:1 Honours Bachelor degree (or international equivalent). Standard XII (10+2) alone is not accepted for entry to the MB ChB programme.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian candidates as per NMC rules.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each component) + Selection MMI assessment.
- Age Limit: Must be at least 18 years old at the start of clinical placements.
- Health & Clearance: Medical fitness clearance, Enhanced DBS check, valid passport, and certified transcripts.
