Course Overview
The BMBS programme focuses on enquiry-based learning, allowing students to develop diagnostic and clinical reasoning through real-world medical cases. Clinical placements begin early and continue throughout the programme in university-affiliated NHS hospitals.
Students also undertake research and quality improvement projects. Graduates are equipped for Foundation Training and future leadership roles in healthcare.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE): Minimum 90% overall, including 90% in Chemistry and Biology, equivalent to the published AAA academic requirement for BMBS Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: Competitive University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian candidates per NMC.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in all bands) + Selection Selection Process / MMI.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age at course commencement.
- Health & Clearance: Health screening assessment, Enhanced DBS check, valid passport, and academic records.
