Course Overview
The MBChB programme integrates patient-centred learning with modern medical science through a systems-based curriculum. Students develop clinical skills in simulation centres before applying them during NHS clinical placements.
Research, communication and professionalism are embedded throughout the programme. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Training and careers across a wide range of medical specialties.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE): Minimum 90% overall, including 90% in Chemistry and Biology, meeting the University’s published international academic requirements for MBBS Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian citizens under NMC regulations.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each sub-score) + MMI selection process.
- Age Limit: Must be at least 18 years old at course start.
- Health & Clearance: Medical fitness clearance, DBS check, valid passport, and academic transcripts.
