Course Overview
The MBChB programme is a 5-year integrated medical course combining biomedical sciences, clinical education and research. Students receive early patient contact and extensive hospital placements across Yorkshire.
The curriculum develops clinical competence, leadership and evidence-based decision-making. Graduates are well prepared for Foundation Training and postgraduate specialization.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE): Minimum 90% overall, including 90% in Chemistry and Biology, meeting the published academic standard equivalent to A*AA for MBChB Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian students under NMC regulations.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.5 in spoken, 7.0 in others) + MMI assessment.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age by 1st October of the admission year.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health assessment, Enhanced DBS check, valid passport, and academic transcripts.
