Course Overview
The MBBS programme is a 5-year integrated medical degree emphasizing patient-centred care, scientific knowledge and practical clinical skills. Students receive early clinical exposure through simulation facilities and NHS hospital placements.
The curriculum promotes professionalism, teamwork and evidence-based medicine. Graduates are eligible for Foundation Programme training and medical practice.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII qualifications are not accepted as a standalone qualification for direct entry to Medicine. Applicants must present qualifications accepted by Hull York Medical School as equivalent to the required UK entry standard for MBBS Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian citizens under NMC rules.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each section) + MMI assessment.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age at course start.
- Health & Clearance: Medical fitness check, Enhanced DBS certificate, valid passport, and academic transcripts.
