Course Overview
The MB BChir programme is a 6-year medical degree combining world-class scientific education with advanced clinical training. Students complete rigorous pre-clinical studies followed by extensive clinical placements in leading teaching hospitals.
The curriculum promotes research, innovation and evidence-based healthcare. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Training, academic medicine and global medical careers.
Entry Requirements
- India – Standard XII (CBSE/ISC): Minimum 90% overall. For the Malta MBBS programme, Queen Mary officially accepts Standard XII qualifications. Additional Standard X subject requirements also apply. (Queen Mary University of London)
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian citizens for NMC compliance.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each band) + Academic Panel Interviews.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age by 1st November of the admission year.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health screening, Enhanced DBS clearance, academic transcripts, and valid passport.
