Course Overview

The MBChB programme provides a 5-year integrated medical education combining biomedical sciences, clinical medicine and community-based healthcare. Students receive early patient exposure, simulation-based training and placements across major NHS hospitals.

The curriculum emphasizes research, leadership and patient-centred care. Graduates are well prepared for Foundation Programme training and future specialist practice.

Entry Requirements

  • International applicants are currently not accepted for the MBChB Medicine programme. Therefore, no official Indian Standard XII academic entry requirement is published for Medicine.
  • Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian candidates for NMC compliance.
  • Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in each component) + MMI selection process.
  • Age Limit: Must be at least 18 years old at the start of clinical practice.
  • Health & Clearance: Occupational Health clearance, Enhanced DBS check, academic transcripts, and valid passport.
