Course Overview
The MB BCh programme is an accelerated 4-year Graduate Entry Medicine course designed for graduates from relevant disciplines. Students undertake intensive clinical and academic training through problem-based learning and NHS placements.
The curriculum emphasizes integrated healthcare, research and clinical decision-making. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Programme training and specialist medical careers.
Entry Requirements
- Graduate Entry Medicine only. Applicants must hold a minimum UK 2:1 Honours degree (or international equivalent) in any discipline. Standard XII (10+2) alone is not accepted for entry to the MBBCh Graduate Entry Medicine programme. (Reddit)
- Entrance Exam: GAMSAT or University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian citizens under NMC regulations.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in each component) + Selection MMI interview.
- Age Limit: Minimum 18 years of age at course enrolment.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health clearance, DBS / Overseas criminal clearance, and academic transcripts.
