Course Overview
The MBChB programme provides a 5-year integrated medical education combining scientific knowledge with early clinical exposure. Students learn through case-based teaching, anatomy laboratories, simulation and NHS clinical placements.
The curriculum emphasizes communication, professionalism and evidence-based practice. Graduates are equipped for Foundation Training and future specialist careers.
Entry Requirements
- Higher Secondary (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, meeting the university’s published international academic requirements (equivalent to UK A*AA entry standard). Secondary School (Class 10) or equivalent with English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology (or Combined Science), meeting the university’s GCSE-equivalent requirements.
- Entrance Exam: Competitive University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )score required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian nationals per NMC.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in writing, 6.5 in others) + MMI interview performance.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 18 years old by the course start date.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health screening, Enhanced DBS check, academic transcripts, and clinical health clearance.
