Master of Regulation and Governance – ANU
Course Overview
The Master of Regulation and Governance provides advanced knowledge of regulatory systems, governance frameworks, public administration, and organisational accountability across public and private sectors. Students study regulatory policy, risk management, compliance, ethics, corporate governance, and institutional design while developing strategic decision-making skills.
The program encourages critical evaluation of regulatory challenges affecting industries, governments, and international organisations through applied research and policy analysis. Students learn to design and assess effective governance systems that promote transparency and sustainable outcomes. Graduates pursue careers in regulatory agencies, government departments, compliance management, policy consulting, and corporate governance.
Entry Requirements
- Academic Records: Recognized Bachelor degree in Law, Public Policy, Criminology, or related discipline with a minimum GPA of 4.5/7.0.
- English Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall (min 6.0 in sub-scores) or equivalent.
- Prerequisites / Knowledge: General understanding of public sector regulatory frameworks.
