Course Overview
Lakehead’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program prepares public health professionals to protect and promote population health through epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, and health program evaluation. The curriculum emphasizes community health practice, infectious disease control, health promotion, and global health issues.
Students complete a practicum placement or master’s research project to gain practical public health experience. Graduates possess the expertise required to design, implement, and evaluate impactful public health interventions across diverse communities.
Entry Requirements
- Recognized undergraduate degree from an accredited university with a minimum 70% average
- Official post-secondary transcripts
- Statement of Academic Purpose and Resume/CV
- Two letters of recommendation
- Proof of English Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0) or TOEFL iBT 80
