Entry Requirements

- MCAT required (509+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
- 3 Credit Hours Math/Stats; Bio (12 Credit Hours), Gen Chem (8 Credit Hours), Org Chem (8 Credit Hours), Physics (8 Credit Hours), English (6 Credit Hours).
- Admission is limited to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents. Applications are processed through TMDSAS, and strong preference is given to Texas residents. International applicants requiring F-1 student visa sponsorship are not eligible for admission.
- Applicants applying through the Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from faculty members or professionals familiar with the applicant’s academic performance, character, and suitability for medical training.
