Course Overview
The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program at NEOMED is a 4-year full-time graduate medical degree accredited by the LCME. The curriculum integrates patient-centered biomedical sciences, interprofessional team training, and clinical clerkship rotations across affiliated Northeast Ohio health systems.
Graduates receive the title of Medical Doctor (MD), complying with U.S. licensing requirements (USMLE) and ACGME residency eligibility.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor degree from accredited US college/university; min GPA 3.00 (Avg ~3.70).
- Gen Bio (8 hrs), Gen Chem (8 hrs), Org Chem (8 hrs), Physics (8 hrs) w/ labs; Biochem (3 hrs).
- MCAT required (Valid within 3 years; Avg ~508). NEET-UG not accepted.
- US Citizens & PRs only (Ohio preference). Internationals not eligible.
- Native/fluent English verified by US degree.
- AMCAS; NEOMED Secondary; Committee letter or 3 LORs; background check.
