Course Overview
The BSc (Hons) Applied Economics develops students’ understanding of economic theory and its practical application to business, government, and society. Students explore macroeconomics, microeconomics, econometrics, public policy, international economics, financial markets, and economic analysis through research and real-world case studies.
The programme strengthens quantitative reasoning, analytical thinking, and evidence-based decision-making skills. Students learn to evaluate economic trends and develop solutions to complex policy and business challenges. Graduates are prepared for careers in economics, government, banking, consultancy, policy analysis, and financial services.
Entry Requirements
- Completion of 10 + 2 (Higher Secondary Certificate) with a minimum aggregate of 70%–75% including Mathematics.
- IELTS 6.5 (with no band lower than 6.0), TOEFL iBT 90, PTE 63, or Duolingo 120.
- Economic reasoning review and analytical competency check.
- Certified 10 + 2 mark sheets, official transcripts, statement of purpose, and academic recommendation letters.
- Valid passport copy, visa eligibility verification, and academic credential assessment.
