Course Overview

St. Thomas University’s Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) program provides comprehensive professional education in social welfare policy, social work theory, anti-oppressive practice, counseling skills, and community development.

Students engage in critical analysis of systemic social issues and complete extensive supervised field practice placements in community agencies, healthcare facilities, and social service organizations. The curriculum prepares students for ethical, evidence-based generalist social work practice. Graduates are eligible for professional social work registration.
