Course Overview
The Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Engineering at the University of Waterloo is a joint program between the Faculty of Engineering and the Cheriton School of Computer Science. Students receive comprehensive training in software design architecture, real-time operating systems, algorithms, and cybersecurity.
The program features mandatory co-op work terms allowing students to integrate academic theory with professional engineering practice. Capstone design projects simulate complex industrial software developments. Graduates are fully qualified professional engineers specializing in large-scale software systems.

- Grade 12 Advanced Functions and Calculus & Vectors
- Grade 12 Chemistry and Physics
- Proof of English Language Proficiency (IELTS 6.5 overall)
