Entry Requirements

• 90+ semester hours from an accredited US college required.
• MCAT required (510+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 1 semester Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Physics, English.
• Only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to apply. The institution places strong emphasis on serving the healthcare needs of Tennessee and therefore gives significant preference to qualified in-state applicants. International applicants requiring F-1 student visa sponsorship are not eligible.
• Applicants applying through the Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from professors, physicians, employers, or research mentors who can evaluate the applicant’s academic qualifications, personal character, and readiness for medical education.
