Entry Requirements

• 90+ semester credits from an accredited US/Canadian college required.
• MCAT required (507+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 1 semester Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Physics, Psych/Soc.
• Admission is limited to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders). The institution gives admissions preference to qualified applicants from North Dakota and Minnesota in accordance with its regional healthcare mission. International applicants requiring F-1 student visa sponsorship are not eligible.
• Applicants applying through the Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from professors, physicians, employers, or research mentors who can evaluate the applicant’s academic qualifications, professionalism, and potential for success in medical education.
