Course Overview
The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program at UCF College of Medicine is a 4-year full-time graduate medical degree accredited by the LCME. The curriculum features organ-systems pre-clinical modules, Focused Inquiry & Research Modules (FIRM), simulation skills, and rotations in Orlando health networks.
Graduates receive the title of Medical Doctor (MD), complying with U.S. licensing requirements (USMLE) and ACGME residency eligibility.
Entry Requirements
- Bachelor degree from an accredited US institution required.
- MCAT required (515+ target); TOEFL iBT for non-native speakers.
- 1 semester Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Biochem, Physics.
- Admission is restricted to U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, and DACA recipients only. The institution does not currently sponsor F-1 student visas for its medical program, making international applicants requiring visa sponsorship ineligible for admission.
- Applicants applying through the American Medical College Application Service (AMCAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from academic faculty or professionals who can provide an objective evaluation of the applicant’s academic performance, character, and readiness for medical school.
