Entry Requirements

• 90+ undergraduate semester hours at an accredited US/Canadian college required.
• MCAT required (508+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 3 Credit Hours Math/Stats; Bio (12 Credit Hours), Gen Chem (8 Credit Hours), Org Chem (8 Credit Hours), Physics (8 Credit Hours), English (6 Credit Hours).
• Only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for admission. As with other TMDSAS-participating medical schools, international applicants requiring F-1 student visa sponsorship are not eligible because the application system does not support such applications.
• Applicants applying through the Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from professors, physicians, employers, or research mentors who can provide a comprehensive evaluation of the applicant’s academic and personal qualifications.
