Entry Requirements

• 90+ semester hours at an accredited US/Canadian college required.
• MCAT required (509+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 1 semester Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Physics, English.
• Only U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible for admission. The medical school’s mission emphasizes serving Tennessee and the Appalachian region, resulting in a strong preference for applicants from these communities.
• Applicants applying through AMCAS (American Medical College Application Service) should submit either a Committee Letter Packet or three individual academic Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from faculty members who have taught the applicant and can evaluate their academic performance, integrity, and readiness for medical education.
