Course Overview
The Medicine programme provides a strong foundation in biomedical sciences during the early years before students continue clinical training at partner UK medical schools. Teaching emphasizes scientific understanding, clinical communication and professional development.
Small-group learning and research opportunities enhance the educational experience. Graduates complete their medical qualification through partner institutions and progress to Foundation Training.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII qualifications alone are not accepted for direct entry to Medicine. Applicants must hold qualifications recognised by the University as equivalent to the published A Level entry requirements for Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian students for NMC compliance.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in each module) + Selection MMI interview.
- Age Limit: Minimum 17.5 to 18 years of age at start of course.
- Health & Clearance: Occupational Health clearance, Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG)/DBS check, valid passport.
