Course Overview
The MBChB programme combines research-led teaching with extensive clinical experience across one of the UK’s largest teaching hospital networks. Students build clinical skills through early patient contact, anatomy laboratories and simulation-based education.
The curriculum promotes innovation, digital healthcare and evidence-based decision-making. Graduates are well prepared for Foundation Training and specialist medical careers.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII (CBSE/CISCE): Minimum 90% overall, including 90% in Chemistry and Biology, equivalent to the published A Level entry requirements for MBChB Medicine.
- Entrance Exam: Competitive University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard for Indian candidates per NMC rules.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.0 overall (min 7.0 in each skill) + Multiple Mini Interview (MMI).
- Age Limit: Applicants must turn 18 within the first term of entry.
- Health & Clearance: Medical fitness certification, Enhanced DBS clearance, valid passport, and transcripts.
