Course Overview
The BMBS programme is a 5-year integrated medical course focused on scientific excellence and patient-centred clinical practice. Students benefit from early clinical exposure, case-based learning and NHS hospital placements.
The curriculum develops diagnostic reasoning, research capability and professional ethics. Graduates are prepared for Foundation Programme training and specialist practice.
Entry Requirements
- Indian Standard XII qualifications are not accepted as the sole qualification for direct entry to BMBS Medicine. Applicants are expected to present qualifications accepted by the University as equivalent to the published A Level Medicine entry requirements (A*AA including Chemistry and Biology/Human Biology). Official international qualification equivalencies apply.
- Entrance Exam: University Clinical Aptitude Test ( UCAT )required + Qualified NEET-UG scorecard required for Indian candidates per NMC regulations.
- Language & Interview: IELTS 7.5 overall (min 7.0 in each component) + Selection MMI.
- Age Limit: Applicants must be at least 18 years old by start of course.
- Health & Clearance: Medical fitness clearance, DBS check, valid passport, and academic records.
