Course Overview
The MB, BCh, BAO programme provides 5 years of integrated medical education focused on biomedical sciences, clinical medicine and research. Students receive early clinical exposure and extensive hospital-based training across multiple specialties.
The curriculum develops strong diagnostic, clinical and professional competencies while promoting evidence-based practice. Graduates are prepared for postgraduate medical training and healthcare careers worldwide.
Entry Requirements
- minimum average score of 80% to 90% / Leaving Certificate / IB (Chemistry & Biology/Physics mandatory)
- HPAT-Ireland (for EU/CAO applicants) or GAMSAT/MCAT (for 4-Year Graduate Entry Medicine)
- English Language Proficiency (IELTS 6.5–7.0 or equivalent)
- CAO Application (EU) or Direct International / Atlantic Bridge Application
- Garda Vetting (Criminal Record Check) & Health Clearance
Career Outcomes
- Intern Medical Officer (HSE 1-Year Paid Internship for Medical Licensing in Ireland)
- Basic Specialist Trainee (BST) in Surgery, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, or Emergency Medicine
