Students receive comprehensive clinical training primarily at the Western Visayas Medical Center, one of the region’s largest government tertiary referral hospitals, as well as other accredited teaching hospitals. Community immersion is a defining feature of the program, requiring students to work closely with rural communities and local government health units to understand population health needs and strengthen primary healthcare delivery. The college actively promotes research in infectious diseases, maternal and child health, non-communicable diseases, public health, and healthcare systems improvement.
