About University of Northern Philippines College of Medicine
The University of Northern Philippines (UNP) College of Medicine, located in Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, is a government-funded medical school established to strengthen physician workforce development across the Ilocos Region and Northern Luzon. As the only state university in the region offering medical education, the college focuses on producing socially accountable physicians capable of serving both urban and rural communities.
The Doctor of Medicine curriculum combines biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, surgery, public health, medical ethics, and research through an outcomes-based educational model.
