About Universal College of Medical Sciences
Universal College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is a pioneer private medical college established in 1998 in Bhairahawa, Rupandehi District, Nepal. Affiliated with Tribhuvan University, UCMS was among the earliest private initiatives aimed at medical human resource development near the Indian border.
The college operates a 750-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and clinical departments. UCMS offers MBBS, BDS, MD/MS, and nursing qualifications and is recognized globally by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC), WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, and NMC India.

Eligibility Criteria
- Universal College of Medical Sciences
- Affiliation: Tribhuvan University (TU)
- Academic Requirement: 10+2 / Higher Secondary with ≥50% aggregate in PCB (or CGPA ≥2.4)
- Core Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
- Age Limit: Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year
- Qualifying Exam: MECEE-BL (50th percentile) or qualified NEET-UG score
