About Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences
Nepalese Army Institute of Health Sciences (NAIHS) is a premier non-profit medical institution established in 2010 in Kathmandu, operated under the auspices of the Nepalese Army Welfare Fund. Affiliated with Tribhuvan University (Institute of Medicine), NAIHS is located across campuses in Bhandarkhal and Sanobharyang, dedicated to training both military and civilian health professionals.
Its primary clinical complex is Shree Birendra Hospital (SBH) in Chhauni, a multi-specialty 630-bed tertiary military teaching hospital. NAIHS offers top-tier MBBS, nursing, and postgraduate medical programs and is recognized by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC), WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, and NMC India.

Eligibility Criteria
- Affiliation:Tribhuvan University (TU)
- Academic Requirement:10+2 / Higher Secondary with ≥50% aggregate in PCB (or CGPA ≥2.4)
- Core Subjects:Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
- Age Limit:Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year
- Qualifying Exam:MECEE-BL (50th percentile) or qualified NEET-UG score
