The Doctor of Medicine curriculum follows an outcomes-based educational framework integrating biomedical sciences, clinical medicine, surgery, community health, preventive medicine, ethics, and research. Students receive extensive clinical training through affiliated government hospitals and regional medical centers, where they encounter a wide spectrum of medical conditions prevalent in Southern Philippines. Community immersion programs enable students to work directly with indigenous communities, rural health units, and local government health programs. The college also emphasizes research addressing regional public health issues, tropical diseases, maternal and child health, and healthcare accessibility. Graduates are encouraged to serve Mindanao’s healthcare system while contributing to national medical education, research, and public health development.
