About Manipal College of Medical Sciences
Manipal College of Medical Sciences (MCOMS) is a pioneer private medical institution in Nepal, established in 1994 as a historic joint venture between the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG) and the Government of Nepal. Situated amidst the scenic backdrop of Pokhara, Kaski, MCOMS was the first private medical college in Nepal affiliated with Kathmandu University.
The college operates a modern 750-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital at Phulbari and a basic science campus at Deep Campus. MCOMS delivers world-class MBBS, postgraduate, and nursing education, drawing a highly diverse international student body, and is recognized by WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, NMC India, and the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC).

Eligibility Criteria

- Affiliation:Kathmandu University (KU)
- Academic Requirement:10+2 / Higher Secondary with ≥50% aggregate in PCB (or CGPA ≥2.4)
- Core Subjects:Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
- Age Limit:Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year
- Qualifying Exam:MECEE-BL (50th percentile) or qualified NEET-UG score
