About Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences
Kathmandu University School of Medical Sciences (KUSMS) is the constituent medical faculty of Kathmandu University, established in 2001 in Dhulikhel, Kavrepalanchok District. Operating as a public-private collaborative academic hub, KUSMS governs KU’s nationwide medical curriculum while training students at its central campus and primary teaching hospital, Dhulikhel Hospital (a 475+ bed community-based university hospital).
KUSMS delivers high-standard MBBS, BDS, B.Sc. Nursing, and postgraduate medical programs, receiving global recognition from the Nepal Medical Council (NMC), WHO, WDOMS, ECFMG, and NMC India.

- Affiliation:Kathmandu University (KU)
- Academic Requirement:10+2 / Higher Secondary with ≥50% aggregate in PCB (or CGPA ≥2.4)
- Core Subjects:Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
- Age Limit:Minimum 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year
- Qualifying Exam:MECEE-BL (50th percentile) or qualified NEET-UG score
