Entry Requirements

• Bachelor degree from an accredited US college required.
• MCAT required (508+ target); TOEFL iBT for foreign degrees.
• 3 Credit Hours Math/Stats; Bio, Gen Chem, Org Chem, Physics, Writing.
• Admission is restricted to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents. Applications are submitted through TMDSAS, and international applicants requiring F-1 student visa sponsorship are not eligible under the current admissions process.
• Applicants applying through the Texas Medical & Dental Schools Application Service (TMDSAS) should submit either a Pre-Health Committee Letter Packet or three individual Letters of Recommendation (LORs) from professors, physicians, employers, or research supervisors who can provide a comprehensive assessment of the applicant’s academic achievements, professionalism, and commitment to medicine.
