The Doctor of Medicine (MD) Program at Uniformed Services University is a 4-year full-time military graduate medical degree accredited by the LCME.

The curriculum combines standard medical education with military leadership, operational/disaster medicine, and clinical clerkships at military medical treatment facilities nationwide. Entry Requirements

  • Academics: Bachelor degree from accredited US college prior to matriculation (Avg GPA ~3.70). Prerequisites: Bio (1 yr), Gen Chem (1 yr), Org Chem (1 yr), Physics (1 yr) with labs; Calculus/Stats, English (1 yr).
  • Exam: MCAT required (Avg score ~510).
  • Citizenship & Eligibility: Strictly restricted to US Citizens only (Military active duty commissioning requirement). Ineligible for Permanent Residents and International students.
  • Language & Testing: English proficiency verified via US degree.
  • Portal & Documentation: AMCAS portal; Military physical examination (DoDMERB clearance); Security clearance & background check.
