The Doctor of Medicine (MD) program at Tashkent Medical Academy is a comprehensive 6-year full-time undergraduate medical degree taught in English, structured explicitly in compliance with global medical education frameworks. The curriculum is thoughtfully divided into 5 years of rigorous academic, theoretical, and preclinical training—covering fundamental biological and medical disciplines such as human anatomy, biochemistry, physiology, pathology, and pharmacology—followed by 1 mandatory year of intensive clinical internship.
Students receive hands-on practical training across major multi-profile teaching hospitals and specialized clinical research centers in Tashkent. The program is fully accredited and recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS), and the National Medical Commission (NMC), making graduates thoroughly eligible to pursue international medical licensing exams such as the USMLE, PLAB, and India’s NExT/FMGE.
